Day 58 (December 30)

Today was our first full day in Sydney, so we figured we’d do some of the typical tourist stuff by going to the Taronga Zoo and touring around the harbor. I really can’t think of much to say, so here’s a few pictures just to prove we were there. Enjoy!

  1. CONGRATULATIONS Mattie and Scot
    GOODONYA!!!
I am just blown away by your adventure, your ambition and your perseverance.
I doubt that many people will comprehend the enormity of what you have just done.
Many many Aussie’s wouldn’t ever dream of doing what you have just done (on your bikes!) in their car.
The great Nullarbor Plains have an almost mythical status in Oz and people get real bragging rights if they
can claim to have driven that route (in a car!)
So what you have just done is almost beyond comprehension to most Aussie’s
One person that I mentioned your adventure to implored me to intercede and convince you not to proceed
with your plans as it would probably be the end of you… a bit melodramatic for sure but it wouldn’t be an
    uncommon sentiment here in Oz.
So, a big big congratulations to you both.
And a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! to you both also.
    Cheers.
    David Coleman
